Lancaster Rd.
We all talk about home like we know what it means, I believe it can manifest in multiple ways. Lancaster Rd. explores time, memory, collections and family archive to challenge the internal versus external view of family among an index of lived experience. By tracking parallel paths of childhood, I build a map in time of the emotional ties that anchor me to these places.
I use a personal outlook to preserve, restore and document the past comparative to the present. Family archive is used to function as a reflection of childhood and time to redefine the word ‘home’ and conserve Lancaster Road.
